It is important to never spam people on social networking platforms to get traffic and sales on your site. Spamming people basically means that your are always posting links to your profile saying how you got something that is so great on your website or how your website have the greatest product to sell, is not good.
Spamming links to your site on your profile and all over that social platform you will not give you many results, for you are not providing people value. By providing value to people your business will grow.

Do not just create a website and expect traffic to just come to it without properly promoting it. The whole meaning promote is what will allow visitors and traffic to go to your website.
By not doing anything with your website and not putting out content for people to view, it would be a waste of time to just let it sit and wait for people to look at it. In order to promote a web site successful there will need to be some link building and content sharing to get your web site seen by the masses.
Also another thing to not do in order to promote your web site effectively is to procrastinate. One of the biggest enemies to building your business is procrastination. By giving yourself excuses you are literally preparing yourself to fail.
The best advice is to get over your doubts and fully believe in yourself. I have trouble sometimes myself with procrastination, but I overcome it and keep moving. Like the saying goes there is nothing to it but to do it.

Chose a good website theme suitable for your business. You will want to do this so that when people visit your website they can get a feel about who you are what you are about. The theme you chose for you website should be simple, but elegant.

Also, no matter what business opportunity your are in, you will need to business brand you and not your company. You can easily brand yourself by not using your companies replicated or website and use your own.
Your business or company may be great, but people do not join business opportunities or buy from strangers as much anymore they join and buy things from you, from people, form someone that is trustworthy.
And by showing this and establishing that brand for yourself you will grow your business greatly.
Another good reason why it is importantly to brand yourself when promoting a website is because you can have multiple income streams on your site.
By not just having stuff about your company or business opportunity you could also offer people resources and products that they can purchase from you. And also with properly branding yourself on your website you can later down the road create own business products and your own business system.
